On March 15th, as part of the McHenry Community Shave, our Rotarians shaved their heads for St. Baldrick's Day.  The St. Baldrick's event raises awareness and funds to help families with children with cancer.   McHenry is one of the largest events in the country. Rotary Club of McHenry shavees included: President Phil Sweeney, McHenry Mayor Sue Low, McHenry Township Fire District Chief Tony Huemann, McHenry Police Chief John Jones, McHenry Township Supervisor Donna Schaefer, McHenry Area Chamber Executive Director Kay Bates.  McHenry Sunrise Club's Ryan Conway and Adam Diamond also shaved their heads.  Rotary was well represented in the Community Leaders team at the event.  Service above self!
