Pres. Elec. Webb has become an old pro as he filled in for the 3rd  straight week for Kathy. Tom called upon Newman to lead us in the Pledge, Mayor Sue the 4-way test, Don W. a Song and Hein said a Prayer.  20 of us met and dined on roast beef at the Polish American Legion of Veterans Club.

Phil Bartmann showed off a picture of Kathy’s two new twin Grandchildren for all to see.  It’s easy to see why the proud grandma is going to Milwaukee on the weekends as she takes a break from Mayo and her treatments.  Monday 7 am is Kathy’s scheduled surgery in Rochester.

Madam President, as you read this know that each and every one of us is with you in spirit!  We truly miss you. We look toward a speedy recovery and seeing you sporting your good old smirk soon!!

Happy Dollars  Mayor Sue put in a buck for Bill donating his 50/50 winnings last week to St. Baldrick’s and his commitment to shave his head, Donna for past exchange student Rafa’s graduation from Law school, Karen $3, for her trip to Cozumel and stay at Diana’s condo,  becoming a great aunt again, and for a new associate at the office, and Mr. Don a sad $1 for his wife’s car in Florida  becoming an old wreck.

F & F   Chief Huemann used history from today’s date, but Tony had a hard time stumping fellow

Rotarian’s. In the end he prevailed with questions on McDonalds in the USSR, The civil war,

hydrogen bombs, and many other interesting questions.

Program: Assistant Gov. Don Brewer noted that the GSE team from India will be in the District from 4/28 thru 5/2 and he is looking for host families.

Don also mentioned that the Alg. LITH club has started distributing concentrated “Cloud”  H.E. laundry detergent that is competitively priced, as a fund raiser via club members and their email addresses.  They are offering to partner with other clubs with 20% return on the 1st sale and 15% for repeat sales for the participating clubs.
