26  faithful  gathered as President  Webb rang the bell, calling our meeting to order.  Opening duties were delegated to Bykowski who us in lead the Pledge,  Sweeney  the 4-way test, Weingart was back and so was the key for our Song, and Hein said our Prayer.

Announcements   

The Sunrise club is looking for help with wrapping presents on Dec. 21st and 22nd.

Elections for 2013 / 2014 Club Officers and Chairs took place and are as follows.  Brian Thoma -Pres., Tony Huemann- P.E., Terry Fitzgibbons- Sec., Cheryden Juergensen- Tres.,  Ron Newman- Com. Serv., Karen Lavin- Int., Bill McLemore-P.R., Phil Bartman- Rotary Int. Foundation,  Ron Bykowski-Club Foundation,  Terry Hargrove – Scholarships, and Phil Sweeney – Member Dev.

The Club Budget for next year was presented and unanimously approved.   

The guest fee for our Club Christmas Party is $20.  Please pay at the door.   

Rotarian Mike Ossler and his wife Carla are moving here from Detroit Lakes Mn.  Mike will become a member of our club in two weeks if no objections arise.

Happy Dollars   Arvidson is heading to San Antonio for the holidays,  Hargrove for surviving a fight with a car fender, Newman for his granddaughter heading to London to compete in World competition in Irish Dance, Bykowski for his 9 yr old and 12 yr old grandkids being first chairs at the school Christmas’s concert,  McLemore for  Florida State’s football championship , Denny has been summoned to protect the S.W. Florida coast for the winter, and Weingart was very happy to be back at a meeting.

Fun & Frolics     Mayor Low combined Christmas and her favorite town as she collected from all using  Holiday Traditions that no longer exist in McHenry.  Missing are the water tower star at Rotary Park, the lights that hung over Rt. 120 at Green S and Riverside Dr. in an X  and the Christmas Tree on a raft in the Fox River.
