President Pelz called the meeting to order, and assigned opening duties to Donna who

 lead us in the Pledge, Kay the 4-way test, Don W. led us in Song and the Prayer was said by Bill who we were happy to see sporting his new hip.

Announcements.     Please get potential B.B.&B sponsor names to Joe.  We will allow teams time  thru April  to contact Their leads, after that anyone will be able to make the deal happen.   The High School has created a Logo for our Run, it say’s Rotary Run For Youth Leadership and sports the Rotary logo, a sunset and some figures running on waves,  it looks great and will be revised with a couple figures looking “more female”.

Happy Dollars   Blake had $1 for the new Pope Frances not being named Peter, since the nuns at St. Mary’s grade school taught him there was only one Pope Peter ,  Mayor Sue for McHenry’s #1 in the world for St. Baldrick’s  along with money raised, Kay for the $500 Chamber team that got their head shaved,  PE Webb for last weekend’s great Rotary training, and for next week’s Vail Rotary meeting,   Donna for the Township Senior Head shave team,  and for being back in the US of A, Kathy and Lori for Bill being back at Rotary, Karen for the upcoming trip to Hawaii,  Sweeney for Donna telling him I saw London, I saw France, I saw …??,  and also for the A.M. club letting him talk as long as he wanted…..???  and finally,  Bill couldn’t afford to be happy since he left his old hip along with his money at Loyola. 

F & F    Lori collected a buck a promised more fun next week.

Program:   Suzanne Hoban  from Family Health Partnership Clinic,  shared with us that the free clinic serves the counties uninsured with medical services and challenged us to donate to the new clinic they are building in Crystal Lake.  See more on our home page article.  

50/50  Ron  Bykowski won really big!!  Ron was extremely excited that this would allow him and Linda a very romantic St. Patties Corned Beef dinner at the PLAV including , green draft beer, and  a handsome tip.  Who would have thought that $27 could bring a couple so much romance and happiness.
