President Pelz welcomed 28 to the McHenry Country Club, and called upon Brian to lead us in the pledge,  Diana the 4-way test, Don W. led us in Song and Lori the prayer which included a trusting phrase the spring will eventually arrive.

Visitors Birthday boy Weingart brought is wife Rosemary, and daughters  Karen and Jane, Michelle Zubrzycki sat with Hand-warmer Hargrove and Jan Bartmann    Visiting Rotarian 0

After lunch, Don Weingart  surprised all of us with a great tasting carrot cake in honor of his 90th birthday.  The group thanked Don with a hearty verse of Happy Birthday.

Announcements.     Phil Bartmann is working on a Social Media training seminar for our members

That will likely be held on a Wednesday evening at the McHenry Township.

Mystery Hand shaker-  Everyone had to pay as Phil Bartmann was not only a half hour late, but also the mystery man.   

Happy Dollars  Terry for spring being just south of here, Blake for seeing his first Robin, Mike for his new hairdo and looking like Bartmann, Bill for a successful surgery as he showed us his very impressive titanium reinforced, Elvis like hip swivel, Lori, for Bills new hip and yours truly for my wife Mary being happy that the beard is gone with spring cleaning.

F & F    Lori used women’s rights as her topic and provided us with some really tough yet entertaining questions on historic events that took place with in our Country and with Rotary. 

Make-ups  Welter verified he has spent all of February in Naples Fl.   The way the weather is I’d stay thru April if I was you Denny !

 Program: Club Assembly.   Kathy updated us on the Foundation, we will look into changing the bi-laws for the Petersen, Dean and Club accounts so the endowment portion can be increased or decreased at the clubs discretion to allow for growth. Currently there is $6,000 in earnings from the accounts.

 Ham Dinner items to be sold on craigslist by a 3rd party.

Please work on sponsorship money for our BBQ event, Kathy will provide sponsor packets,  credit card payment may be accepted thru a secure fax at the Savings Bank.  We currently have Sage and Eder Casella Accountants for sponsors.       

50/50  Michelle Zubrzycki had the ticket but not white marble, however she had very warm hands, thanks to Hargrove.
