President Webb welcomed District Gov.- Sara Oliver,  AG -Tina Curtis and the rest of our crew.  Tom called the meeting to order and called upon Bykowski to lead us in the Pledge, Vyduna the 4-way test, Weingart  a Song and McLemore said the Prayer.

August 11th, 5 pm Keep the Spirit of 45 Alive, Veterans Park

September 13th,  Club dinner, Horse Fair Park.  Rotarians will make a dish from the Rotary

Cook Book and test it on our fellow Rotarians.

Announcements  

Tickets for the BB&B are out for presales, 3 for $20 which is a 30% discount. Each Member is expected to sell $100 worth.  We need everyone’s help, especially Saturday with the Run between 6:30 and 9 p.m.

 

The bags tournament made $600 for the food panties and we had 24 teams play.

Happy Dollars  Bill for his grandson playing the Violin and covering his musical errors at church,  Terry for his daughter being pregnant, Vyduna for his planes new paint, his anniversary, his wife’s birthday and heading to Oshkosh for the big fly-in, yours truly for a great bags tournament.

Fun & Frolics  Welter did a fast version of  You Choose, he asked a few individuals to repeat the Bears fight song which resulted in everyone paying $2 for the good of Rotary.

Program  District Governor Sara Oliver,  see  attached Article by Bill McLemore.  Gov. Oliver presented Ron Bykowski with his +8 Paul Harris award, Lynda Bykowski with a +1, and Dave Geils with his 1st.  Ron noted that when he got married to his  Rotary Anne, she came with a 90 day guaranty from the Club.

50/50  Yours truly had the ticket and drew 2 colored marbles so the winning compound.
