PE Brian Thoma took the lead today, welcoming the small group of 18 members to lunch. Brian delegated Newman to lead us in the Pledge, Bartmann the 4-way test, Weingart a Song and  Hein said the Prayer.

Committee Reports

President Webb has applied for a District matching Grant for Scholarships. 

 

The BB&B profits look to be over $20,000 profit, we are waiting for a couple of final invoices before we can determine the final amount.

 

The Morning Club’s  St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is looking for members, see Sweeney if you are interested in helping plan the event.  Phil noted that they have a secret sponsor for the bag pipers in place.

Happy Dollars   Lori for her grandsons Baptism in Atlanta, Bartmann for selling the ham cooker for $700 to the Richmond / Spring Grove Fire Department, Newman for the lady who talked the gunman down in an Atlanta School and for Obama Care covering mental illness, Thoma for the Cubs game last night and his sons friend snagging a foul ball that had his name all over it, Blake for the much needed rain and yours truly was sad for the ham cooker sale .

Fun & Frolics   -   Thoma  took a buck from all with worldly questions like the most flights between to cities - London / Paris, Mexico mines the most Silver, diamonds use to be supplied  thru India, and Vienna is famous for coffee.

Program     A discussion took place on future Community projects. Suggestions included working with the St. Paul Diaper Bank, a Community Garden and a hands on Building Project. possibly something for the River Walk, or Parks Department at Petersen Park.  We are waiting to hear from Pioneer Center on the day at Stades, and we discussed a Food Truck distribution.
