El Presidente Webb greeted 23 rotarians and guests to our weekly meeting at MCC.  Opening duties were carried out by Ron B. (Pledge), Dennis B. (4-Way Test), Jim V. (Song), and Mike Hein (Prayer).  Yours truly was very surprised that vegetable lasagna could be so tasty.

Dec. 19th  Christmas party - McHenry VFW.  Cocktails at 6pm, dinner at 7.

Announcements   

 Membership chair,  Mr. Sweeney has planned a social night at the Chain O Lakes Brewery for prospective new members from 4:00 to 8:00 pm , Phil has pledged to be there the entire time.

The proposed budget for the 2014-15 year was distributed.  A vote will be taken in December for approval.

It was decided that there will be no meeting on 12/26/13.

There was a discussion regarding a holiday party.  It was decided that we would have it at the VFW on 12/19.

A club vote was taken to authorize a $1,000 donation from the McHenry Rotary Foundation to Shelter Box.  The donation was unanimously approved.
